With the love of baking and a desire to master the art of cakes, a business evolved at the age of 14 for owner, Lisa. She is always trying to outdo herself with each new creation. Later came the pastry part of the world for Gourmet Confections.
When it comes to Wedding Cakes, our Brides are always our most important priority. We feel that this is their most important day to shine and we want their Wedding cake to do the same.
We also love to bring smiles to children’s faces when they choose a favorite themed cake. We always have fun creating these cakes for them.
With a background in Hotel restaurant management/Culinary Arts, as well as taking a course in Lancaster, PA, with Master Confectionist Julie Bashore, in Specialty, Wedding Cakes and Rolled Fondant Work. The years of experimenting, creating, as well as designing, most all of this knowledge we have here has been self taught.
